Oliver is a highly versatile and accomplished composer - classically trained at a specialist music school, and with a degree from City University, London, plus further training at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, he has an eclectic interest and experience in a broad range of musical genres. He is also in regular demand as a studio session pianist & keyboard player.

His live performances have ranged from John Cage's 'Cartridge Music' at the ICA to supporting The Chemical Brothers across the USA; from playing Debussy Préludes in London's Purcell Room to the dance tent at Glastonbury.

As the keyboard player in Death In Vegas he toured and performed alongside a host of other bands including Daft Punk & Primal Scream, and at all of the major pop music festivals in the UK and Europe. He also recorded several sessions / live broadcasts for the BBC and featured on TV shows in Paris, Cologne and New York. More recent session work has included various TV dramas and documentaries, production music albums and concert performances.

He spent several years working in Soho and Camden writing music for advertising and as a studio engineer, and has been writing for film and television since 1995, with over 700 tracks published to date via KPM, EMI, Warner Chappell, BMG, Score and others.

In addition to Oliver's composition work for the media he has released several EPs and singles on independent labels which have received airplay from Radio 3 (Mixing It) to Radio 1 (John Peel), and music press praise from Jockey Slut to The Wire.
